Well we survived the winter storm! We got about 7 1/2 to 8 inches of snow in Bryant, they got a foot or more in the northern part of the state! It started about 7:00am on Wednesday morning, it started out sleeting and then it turned to snow very quickly! By 11:00am the roads were a disaster, and I got a half day off work, which was fine by me! I got home from work about 10:30am and by noon it was snowing and the wind was blowing so hard you couldn't see across the street! I have never seen it snow like that in Arkansas the whole 25 years I have lived here! We mostly just get ice but we got very little of that but still the snow froze and got packed on the roads which made it very dangerous to drive on; and most businesses shut down and places that usually stay open closed for days. Of course I had to get Kinsey out in it, she was amazed by it and really liked it! Unfortunately, she won't be old enough to remember it and I doubt it ever snows like that again, but I took some pictures of her out in it, so she will have the pictures to look at and I can tell her the story!
